Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Facultad de Medicina

The Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana is part of the School of Health Sciences and is located on the Robledo Campus in the city of Medellin, Colombia. The University was founded in 1936 and the Faculty of Medicine was created in July 1975, starting work in February 1976 and graduating Its first class of physicians in 1981. The Faculty of Medicine has undergraduate and postgraduate training in different areas such as clinical and surgical specialties and administrative and research programs as well.

Following the requirements and standards defined in the Colombian Republic, the program renewed Its Qualified Registration in 2014 and in 2011 the National Accreditation Council CNA, confers the Re Accreditation in High Quality for eight years. It represents an articulated academic unit, that develops high quality process related to teaching and research domains that has a social impact, which has positioned the program at local, national and international levels. The programs aims to educate an integral physician and human being, with high scientific knowledge, research skills, based on ethical values, sensitive, responsible and committed to the development of their region and country.
